OTTAWA, Sept 11 (Reuters) - Lululemon Athletica Inc LLL.TO (LULU.O) forecast strong third-quarter profit on Thursday and said it plans to open more new stores selling its yoga-gear than last year.
The company forecast third-quarter diluted earnings between 11 cents and 13 cents a share, compared with a profit of 11 cents in the year-ago period.
It told analysts on a conference call that it sees sales growth at stores open at least one year in the mid to high single digits on a constant dollar basis. It also plans to open 15 new stores in North America in the quarter. ($1=$1.07 Canadian) (Reporting by Susan Taylor; Editing by Scott Anderson)
