TORONTO, Jan 12 (Reuters) - Gammon Gold Inc GAM.TO expects its 2009 gold production to increase by as much as 33 percent, helped by a boost in processing at its Ocampo mine and productivity improvements, the Canadian gold and silver producer said on Monday.
It expects gold production of 185,000 to 205,000 ounces, up from 154,428 ounces in 2008.
The Halifax, Nova Scotia-based company expects silver production of 8.2 million to 8.9 million ounces, up from 5.8 million ounces last year.
