TORONTO, Feb 24 (Reuters) - Canadian soft-drink maker Cott Corp BCB.TO (COT.N) said on Wednesday it returned to a fourth-quarter profit, helped by a strong performance from its British operations and as cost-conscious consumers turned to private-label products.

Cott, the world’s largest maker of private-label soft drinks, said it earned $15.1 million, or 17 cents a share for the quarter that ended Jan. 2, compared with a loss of $11.7 million, or 17 cents a share for the same time last year.

Revenue rose 3.9 percent to $386 million. ($1=$1.06 Canadian) (Reporting by Scott Anderson, editing by Dave Zimmerman)
