Feb 10 (Reuters) - Canadian biotechnology company Theratechnologies Inc (TH.TO) posted a narrower quarterly loss, helped by lower operating costs and expenses.
For the fourth quarter ended Nov. 30, the company reported a loss of C$4.7 million, or 8 Canadian cents a share, compared with C$15.1 million, or 26 Canadian cents a share, a year earlier.
Consolidated revenue more than trebled to C$2.3 million.
Analysts on average were expecting a loss of 9 Canadian cents a share, before special items, on revenue of C$2.5 million, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.
The company said its operating costs and expenses for the quarter fell 31 percent to C$4.1 million.
