May 19 (Reuters) - Consolidated Thompson Iron Mines Ltd CLM.TO doubled production forecast for its Bloom Lake iron ore project to 16 million tonnes of concentrate a year.
The company, which expects to start expansion at the northern Quebec-based project in the third quarter of 2010, said the work will take two years.
It sees total capital expenditure of $525 million.
