UPDATE 1-Fuel-cell maker Hydrogenics gets order from Siemens

* Says order includes electrolyzer and other devices

* Says to supply electrolyzer to Russian client

July 15 (Reuters) - Fuel-cell maker Hydrogenics Corp (HYG.TO) said it secured an order from Siemens AG (SIEGn.DE) for an electrolyzer and related devices.

Hydrogenics, which develops hydrogen generation products for the industrial and commercial markets, said it will supply Siemens with an electrolyzer to be used at a seawater desalination and power plant being built in Saudi Arabia.

Hydrogenics will also supply an electrolyzer for the production of light bulbs to a customer in Tomsk, Russia, the company said in a statement.

Both orders are expected to be shipped during the second half of the year, Hydrogenics said.

Shares of Hydrogenics closed at C$4.00 Wednesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange. (Reporting by Arnika Thakur in Bangalore; Editing by Anne Pallivathuckal)
