July 28 (Reuters) - Canada’s Marsulex Inc MLX.TO, which provides environmental compliance solutions to various industries, posted a 54 percent fall in quarterly profit, hurt by weakness in its industrial services segment.
The company posted net income of C$7.9 million, or 24 Canadian cents a basic share, compared with net income of C$17.3 million, or 53 Canadian cents a basic share, a year ago.
Revenue for the quarter fell 9.4 percent to C$81 million.
The company said industrial services EBITDA for the quarter fell about 7 percent to $12.7 million.
