PC Gold shares jump on gold discovery in Ontario

Jan 10 (Reuters) - Junior explorer PC Gold Inc PKL.TO said it discovered gold deposits at its flagship property in Ontario, sending its shares up 18 percent.

The discovery at Pickle Crow has been named Central Pat East and has potential for both underground and open pit mining methods, the Canadian company said in a statement.

This is the first major discovery that the company announced after it found gold at the Pickle Crow mine last year. [ID:nSGE62M0K0]

Shares of the company were trading up 13 percent at 87 Canadian cents on Monday on the Toronto Stock Exchange, after paring some earlier gains. They have gained about a third in the last one year since it announced the gold discovery.
