The company, which currently produces only at its Casa Berardi mine, expects to produce 165,000-170,000 ounces of gold in 2011, up from its 2010 production of 141,000 ounces.

Capital expenditures at Casa Berardi are estimated to total $51.1 million in 2011. Aurizon said it will spend an additional $13.4 million on exploration at the mine, which will include about 115,000 meters of surface and underground diamond drilling.
