Feb 4 (Reuters) - Aerospace and industrial products maker Heroux-Devtek Inc (HRX.TO) posted a higher third-quarter profit, helped mainly by improvement in the commercial aerospace market.
The company also said it expects sales in the second half to rise 15 percent sequentially.
October-December net income was C$5.1 million ($5.15 million), or 17 Canadian cents, compared with C$3.5 million, or 12 Canadian cents a share, last year.
Sales rose 12 percent to C$85.8 million.
Aerospace sales, which made up for most of the revenue in the quarter, rose 9 percent to C$79.5 million.
Shares of the company closed at C$6.95 on Thursday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
