Thomson Reuters says yr started OK for new sales

LONDON, Feb 24 (Reuters) - Thomson Reuters TRIL.L(TRI.TO) has started the year not badly in terms of new subcription sales, Chief Executive Tom Glocer told analysts on Tuesday after the company said sales would grow this year.

Pressed to comment on the rate of cancellations seen so far this year, Glocer said: “The one thing I can guarantee is there will be cancellations and there will be new recurring subscription sales, and actually the year isn’t off badly on that score.” (Reporting by Georgina Prodhan; Editing by Andrew Callus)
