TORONTO, Aug 7 (Reuters) - Lundin Mining (LUN.TO) reported a loss for the second quarter, as the Canadian base metals producer took a $152.7 million impairment charge related to its Aljustrel mine.
Lundin, which is based in Toronto but operates mainly in Europe, lost $108.4 million, or 28 cents a share, in the three-month period. That compared with a profit of $153.8 million, or 54 cents a share, in the year-before period. (Reporting by Cameron French; Editing by Scott Anderson)
