TORONTO, April 28 (Reuters) - Cott Corp (BCB.TO) COT.N swung to a loss in the first quarter, pinched by weaker sales and a slow turnaround in the United States, the soft drink maker said on Monday.
Cott, the world’s biggest producer of private label soft drinks, lost $20.7 million, or 29 cents a share, in the quarter. That compares to a profit of $4.8 million, or 7 cents a share, in the same period a year earlier.
