The Minnesota Twins have again placed right-hander Ervin Santana on the 10-day disabled list in a flurry of moves announced by the team on Sunday.
Santana made five starts since returning from the DL, but is still struggling with symptoms from an injury to his third finger on his pitching hand. He went 0-1 with an 8.03 ERA during his return.
The Twins also activated outfielder Robbie Grossman (hamstring strain) from the 10-day disabled list after a rehab stint with the Rochester Red Wings. Grossman is hitting .253 with 17 doubles, four home runs and 34 RBIs in 92 games with the Twins this season.
Minnesota also recalled right-hander Alan Busenitz from Triple-A Rochester for a fourth time this season and optioned outfielder Johnny Field to Rochester.
Busenitz has played in 11 games for the Twins this season, going 3-0 despite a 6.23 ERA.
Field went 1-for-16 with six strikeouts in limited action since being picked up off waivers earlier this month.
