(Reuters) - Futures for Canada’s main stock index were set to join a global recovery on Thursday, a day after TSX posted its worst day in over four months over worries about surging coronavirus cases in Europe and the United States.
December futures on the S&P/TSX index were up 0.57% at 7:00 a.m. ET.
Data on Canada’s average weekly earnings is due at 8:30 a.m. ET
The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index ended 2.71% lower at 15,586.57 on Wednesday.
Dow Jones Industrial Average e-mini futures were up 0.43% at 7:00 a.m. ET, while S&P 500 e-mini futures were up 0.59% and Nasdaq 100 e-mini futures were up 0.96%.
