ITC to take up Apple's complaints against Kodak

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Apple’s allegations that Eastman Kodak infringed its patents will be investigated by the International Trade Commission, the agency said on Thursday.

The ITC said in a brief statement that it would investigate assertions by Apple Inc that Eastman Kodak Co has violated Apple patents having to do with digital still and video cameras.

Apple’s complaint, which was filed in mid-April, lists two patents that it says Kodak infringed to make some of its Kodak Z series of cameras, the Kodak M series, the Kodak C series, the Kodak SLICE cameras as well as the PLAYSPORT and other video cameras.

Apple is asking that the devices be barred from importation into the United States.
