MOSCOW (Reuters) - The head doctor of the Siberian hospital that treated Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny on Monday denied that the hospital had come under outside pressure from local authorities.
Navalny’s allies had accused doctors of holding up Navalny’s evacuation to Germany on Saturday. The doctors initially said Navalny was not in a fit state to be transported for treatment.
