Russia says its planes attack 10 IS targets in 15 sorties in Syria

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russian air force planes flew 15 sorties over Syria on Monday, destroying Islamic State tanks and artillery positions, the Russian defence ministry said.

“Air strikes were carried out on ten targets,” the ministry said in a statement.

Around 20 Islamic State tanks and three artillery positions were destroyed in Homs province, the ministry added.
