Turkish warplanes strike PKK targets in northern Iraq: sources

DIYARBAKIR (Reuters) - Turkish warplanes struck Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) militant targets in northern Iraq late on Wednesday, hitting logistical centers, ammunition depots and shelters, security sources said.

The jets took off from an air base in the predominantly Kurdish southeastern Turkish city of Diyarbakir, sources said.
