U.S., allies conduct four strikes against Islamic State in Iraq: U.S. military

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States and its allies conducted four strikes against Islamic State in Iraq on Monday, the coalition leading the operations said.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the Combined Joint Task Force said four strikes near three cities in Iraq hit a bed down location and a safe house, destroyed five assembly areas, and suppressed a machine gun position.
