WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Roger Ailes, the Fox News chairman ousted last month after sexual harassment allegations, is advising Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump before the presidential debates in the fall, the New York Times reported on Tuesday.

Ailes’ role in the campaign could stretch beyond the debates with Democrat Hillary Clinton, the first of which is scheduled for Sept. 26, the Times reported, citing three unidentified people briefed on the matter.
